***** 24 January 07 ~ Happy New Year, everyone! It's been a while. I hope you had a pleasant holiday season. Now that life has calmed down (HA!) I've gotten Log 3:7 back from my betas, coded up, and posted. It'll be a little while before I can start work on Log 3:8--although I suppose in the long run you guys won't notice any difference in the time it takes to post. It's all random anyway. Anywho, hope you enjoy the latest! |
***** 1 September 06 ~ Log 3:6 is posted. It is long. Make sure you've eaten and have a comfortable place to sit and read. It's going to take you a while. Also posted cleaned up Log 2:21. I don't know about you, but I'm finding rereading these is quite entertaining and interesting on several levels--not all of them flattering, but what the hell. |

***** 7 July 06 ~ Still cleaning house, as it were. I don't know if the Logs are getting cleaner or if I'm getting lazier in my rereading. At any rate, they're cleaned through Log 2:15 and Dinner and Dessert. In case anyone is looking here and wondering, Log 3:6 is currently with the beta readers. I've gotten some feedback from them, but I'm still working on edits. |
***** 17 May 06 ~ Did you think I'd died? Well I'm happy to announce that I didn't. After many, many weeks in the shadows, we're happy to announce a return to the stage for Log 3:5. Entirely unrelated, my baseball team is sucking rocks. I'm very sad. |
***** 7 Dec 05 ~ Yes, it's an update. Can you even believe it? I'm sure many of you join me in wondering if this day would ever come. Happily, it has. As I reassured a reader not long ago, Log Rhythms is neither dead nor dying a slow death. It is simply living a v e r y s l o w l i f e. Here's Log 3:4 at long last. For those keeping track, older Log clean-ups are done now through Log 2:13. The spambots have found my address at this site, so I've changed it. You can still use the contact forms as before, so it shouldn't affect anyone unless for some bizarre reason you've been using the address directly. It's just a forward, so I doubt anyone but the spammers is, but just in case I wanted to tell you it won't work anymore. |
***** 11 Aug 05 ~ I've been slowly cleaning up early Logs. As a result, I've just posted an updated of Log 2:4. I mention this one specifically because it's the latest and because it has the most significant change. Up to now it's just been little fixes in punctuation, et al. But this time I've added to a bit at the beginning in recognition of the lost crew of the Space Shuttle Columbia in 2003. |
***** 29 July 05 ~ Ever wondered what the Completed dd Month yy at the end of each fic means? It's the date of the first draft's completion. So, if you've ever been annoyed by the often lengthy stretch of time between the completion date and the posting date, know that the interim is filled with much beta-reading, editing, and general improvement. That said, here is Log 3:3. |
***** 23 June 05 ~ Happy Summer, everyone! We, of course, had thunderstorms on the Solstice, and then it rained nearly all day yesterday. Today it is pleasantly warm and reasonably sunny. I love variety. Anyway, I have OC hetsmut for you! I've written TLW hetsmut before, but this is the first one I've done in the ENT universe. I hope you enjoy it! ***** 30 May 05 ~ I've decided to stop apologizing for the lengthy breaks between updates. I think we all know by now that that's just the way it is around here, and as long as everyone is informed, everyone is prepared. Right? Right. ::smooches all for their patience:: Moving on. Here is Log 3:2. We're still in the realm of the episode The Expanse and will be for a little while longer. Put it down to my feeling that said episode rushed things in a way that was just inexcusable--even for episodic television restricted to the 42-minute hour and the 22-episode season. |

***** 22 Jan 05 ~ I've added a mailing list to this half of the site. It's pretty straight forward. If you want to receive an email whenever I make an update worth noting, just join the list. You can do that by going to the Feedback Form, filling out the info, and clicking on "Add me to the Updates Mailing List". A little note confirming that you really want to be added would also be nice, but certainly isn't required. Lest you fear that you'll be innundated with update e-mail (ha, ha), trust me when I say the updates will be sporadic and far between…but you knew that already, I'm sure. ;-> |
***** 10 Jan 05 ~ I think I discovered html psychosis this weekend. Perhaps you recognize it? It's that slightly crazed state where your eyes shine a little too brightly, you want to giggle hysterically for no reason, and your brain automatically places html tags around your very thoughts. You know what I'm talking about? It's…creepy. I can only hope that it was worth it. What brought me to this semi-vegetative state, you ask? The ENTERPRISE/Log Rhythms Timeline I created. I'm actually glad I'm going to be without net access from the 12 - 16 of this month. That means I won't have to look at any html code at all. I hope. You might have noticed, or you might not, that I did a little redesigning of the ENT Menu. I like it. I think it's less cumbersome, more compact, and just generally tidier. ***** 31 Dec 04 ~ Happy New Year, everyone! And to celebrate it, I've posted Log 2:27, the last log of Season 2! Woo-hoo! (There will be another naughty fic this season, but it's not quite ready for publication yet.) For those of you keeping track, this is also the last fic I'm going to post on FanFiction.net. ***** 9 Nov 04 ~ Log 2:26 is finally posted. There will definitely be a Log 2:27, but I don't think I'll have to go to 2:28. ::crosses fingers in desperate hope:: I think I speak for everyone when I say that I really need to get into Season 3, so that I can eventually move on to Season 4. In the meantime, though, I have a goofy little one-off fic that I'll try to get posted this week. It doesn't fit anywhere in S2 that I can tell, and it certainly isn't appropriate for S3. So I'll probably just stick it on the Naughty Bits page, even though it's only an [R] rating. I'll update again once it's available. Oh! Do you like my new star-speckled background? I'm quite fond of it, myself. The flat black was getting a little tiresome. |

***** 16 Aug 04 ~ Can it be? Is she really posting an update? OMFG! Yes, two and a half months later I am actually posting a new installment. You may notice that it doesn't end in a place where I can easily wrap up the "season" with only one more entry. I'm still too far back from The Expanse for that. So…I'll be adding Log 2:27 and possibly Log 2:28 at some point. Please feel free to cheer or weep, as you see fit. In other Trek news, surely you've heard by now that Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens have joined the ENT writing team. I believe their official title is "Executive Story Editors". I cannot begin to express how thrilled I am by this news. First Manny Coto becomes the Show Runner, and now J&G join the gang. I'm positively giddy with glee! That's it for now. I'm DNash and I suck. ::waits for reply of "Hi, DNash," only to realize there are just three other people in the room and one of them is asleep; continues anyway:: Uh… It's been 11-1/2 weeks since my last Log Rhythms update. I have neither explanation nor excuse. I only hope that those of you still hanging in there find this latest installment enjoyable. Also, in my ongoing attempt to fight the evil spambots, I've changed from javascript to nifty email forms (as one reader has already discovered and used in an attempt to kick me into action ;-) ). I'm even working on a German version for Celeb's lovely translations. Finally, I've updated my links pages so there's now one for Official Sites and one for Fan Sites, including a couple of new ones. ***** 24 April 04 ~ I've added some javascript that will hopefully keep the nasty trolling bots from using the email addresses posted on this site for their own nefarious purposes. I've also changed the main text colour. If you have an opinion about the change, good or bad, please feel free to let me know. And in case anyone is wondering, Log 2:24 is well on its way towards completion, it's just that RL keeps getting in the way. |
***** 10 March 04 ~ Finally! I've finished Log 2.23! I suppose you're not surprised since I appear to have fallen into a once-a-month update pattern, but from my POV, this one has taken over that month. As a result, I'm quite spectacularly pleased that it's done. I hope you enjoy it. |

However, having enlisted an unbiased, German-speaking thrid party as a surface level beta-reader, I can tell you these translations are very good. So, enjoy them right here. |

I'm working on Log 2:19, but obviously my attempt to be timely about it has failed miserably. However, Squeaky can assure you it is, in fact, on its way. In the meantime enjoy her new fic, Tied Up. |
